Bored Monkey

Today I spotted our pet sock monkey... He was obviously quite bored since he was just staring out the office window.

Neighbors - SE Portland Fire

After dropping Grayson of at school today I decided to follow the sound of sirens. About a mile from my house there was a house fire and I was able to capture some shots. I actually had my camera with me so I took several shots which I will be posting at a later date.

I couldn't resist this one however. The two women are taking pictures with their iPhone and the gentleman on the right has come to lend a hand... Not sure the tiny fire extinguisher will due for this 3 alarm fire!

Gotcha!

On my way home from work tonight I was listening to my scanner. There was a man who beat his girlfriend and was armed and walking down the street. And of course I had to check out the action... I arrived before the police did and was able to get into position to take a couple shots.

Unfortunately I only had my cell phone... Here is a shot from tonight.
