A white morning

Trying to get into Vancouver this morning we were stopped for several hours. Here is a picture I took from the train I was on. We never made it in so we ended up getting a van ride home.

Picking Out A Tree

Being kind of pressed for time we had to go to a tree lot this year to get a Christmas tree. Even though we didn't cut it ourselves I would say it actually turned out nice and looks just like a Christmas tree...

Quite The Kick

At Grayson's Taekwondo party this evening some of the black belts did an exhibition. Here is James doing a back flip and kicking two boards.

Well, he did break one of them at least...

What a gorgeous day!

Another run up the Columbia River Gorge. The view never gets old! The wind is howling at a mighty 50 mph and the water is filled with white caps. I am glad I'm in this nice warm locomotive!

Quite the climb

Well, it's not quite Jacob's ladder, but it certainly was up there... kinda weird when you have to work on a ladder on a roof.

Marysville School Fire Pictures Portland, OR

Here are some shots I was able to take today from the school fire at Marysville. I spent a lot of years playing in the field, terrorizing the neighborhood, and just plain old hanging out. I spoke with several people who went to the school and they all seemed to be in a bit of dismay.

I know many of you will probably feel the the same way.

This is the shot when I came out my front door to go to a noon appointment. I figured it was more than a chimney that's for sure.

A few blocks away from the school there was a funeral taking place at the neighborhood graveyard. The smoke drifting through the air didn't seem to affect the attenders.

Kind of an unusual day today.
