Rose Petal - Macro Shot

Here is a picture I took that was a bunch of foliage blowing around. I gathered it together and piled up to make this shot. I really like the way the sun reveals the transparency of the petal.

Winter Rose

I took this picture today. What a gorgeous day it is...

Now, I have seen more vibrant roses before, but what struck me was that it is the middle of December. Roses are not the norm this time of year.
