More Spring Break
Ah, Spring Break in Oregon. It certainly isn't like the southern part of our country where the college kids go for sun, parties, sleepless nights. Oh no, we get lots of rain, wind, and cold weather for spring break around here.
We went to the beach for the day and enjoyed some of the finer things in life. Walks on the beach, Pronto Pups, and of course a meal at Mo's. Not the finest food I have ever eaten, but it is the cheapest on the coast that is for sure.
Oh ya, and who can forget bumper cars and putt-putt golf.
On to the next adventure tomorrow... Stay Tuned!

No Dumping Allowed
Have you ever wondered why some of the most littered places around the city are next to "No Dumping" signs... Just a thought.
I was running in Seatac and came across this sign. I had to take a picture of it. If you take a look about 200 feet in the distance you can see a huge pile of trash. It looks like the sign isn't doing a very good job. And how about the threat at the bottom of the sign... like they are going to arrest someone for throwing out their trash. Our jails are already sending people out onto the streets who are real criminals...
I can see it now.
Ya never know...

- Inmate #1: "What are you in for?"
- Inmate #2: "I threw the litter bag out of my car.... Gonna get 5 years. What are you in for?"
- Inmate #1: I ran over my girlfriend's lover with my truck and broke both of his legs... they said they need to make room for some guy who dumped his trash next to a "No Dumping" sign so I get out tomorrow."
Ya never know...

2009 USWC Taekwondo Tournament
Wow... another year has gone by and it seems as if it went by way too quickly.
Here are a couple of shots from the US West Coast National Taekwondo tournament from this weekend. It was a little more crowded than last year, but the kids still did an awesome job representing their school.
Grayson only competed in two events this year (form and sparring) and took the silver and the gold respectively in his matches. He is now a red belt and two away from getting his black. It should take him another 18 months or so and he will be a black belt... He is really motivated and wants to have his second degree belt by the time he is fourteen. With his motivation and discipline level I am sure he will achieve it.

Here are a couple of videos. They are of Grayson sparring. Round one and round two. He did a good job dodging the kicks of his competitor and won 3-2.
Enjoy!
