What's up with this?

I understand from time to time in life we may get things just a little wrong and then we try to improve upon our mistakes so we become better at what we do... But what is up with the weather predictions for the Pacific Northwest?



As you can see we are supposed to have rain and cool temperatures all week. Many people schedule their life around the weather so accuracy would be nice once in awhile. I have lived here for 43 years and it seems like the best approach to predicting the weather is to simply look outside. If it is wet then it is raining. If it is bright then the sun is shining. If stuff is blowing around it is windy. And if there is white stuff on the ground it is snowing... Come on weather people....



And as you can see... once again the weather reporters in Portland are not even close. Sunny and not a cloud in the sky. Go figure.
