A Little Hard Work

Today's pictures are from a friends house. Austin spent several hours hammering up a concrete drive to earn some money for his mission trip in January. As you can see by the third photo, the hammer was winning the battle and his hands and arms were spent! So, being the nice dad that I am, I came by the site and spent the next couple of hours working the hammer. Between the two of us we were able to get the concrete broken up and the old driveway will soon be hauled away.

It is amazing how the power of two makes all the difference sometimes from being frustrated and tired to becoming motivated and ready to finish the job.

Great job Austin... you certainly earned your 20 bucks :-)
